About the challenge

Productathon hardware is an open hardware build-up competition under the flagship of E Summit where young students can leverage their technical skills to solve real-life challenges and focus more on building a startup. 

In this event, We offer a platform for all nation's best talents to build and showcase their products and inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving.

Get started

Round 1: Registration and Product description with detailed video

• Mode- Online
• Deadline: 10th February 2023
• Registration: Devpost or Productathon
• Details-
  • Team leaders have to apply for the whole team at the event
  • Submit detailed product descriptions in docs or ppts and a video with a proper explanation
• In this round, teams have to submit detailed hardware descriptions in pdf and video links detailing the development/progress of their real product e.g. how much it completed?

Qualification to the next round criteria-

• The usefulness of the product and market base
• The real-world problem it mitigates
• Better product over a potential competitor
• Proper explanation of product

Eligibility criteria-

• Teams can have at most 5 members and min 2 members
• Participants must be school, college, or university students

Round 2: Interview Round

• Mode: Online
• Notice regarding clearance of round mailed to corresponding team leader
• Details-
  • In the Interview round, we basically focused on the thought process to make that product
  • How your product is market fit

Qualification to the next round criteria:

• How much do you know about your product in every aspect?

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must clear round 1

Round 3: Final Presentation Round

• Mode: Offline
• Venue: IIT Roorkee, Uttarakhand
• Tentative Dates: 17th February 23 to 19th February 23

Details- 

• Top teams will get the chance to showcase their product in front of the judges' panel
• The winner will be awarded a cash prize and a certificate

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must clear round 2 and must be present at IIT Roorkee during the event.

• Qualification to the next round criteria-
  The usefulness of the product and market base, the real-world problem it mitigates, the Better product over a potential competitor and the Proper explanation of the product.
